I am a third-year student at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business, majoring in Marketing. I have a passion for being an effective team leader and collaborating with others. I've shown these strengths by managing, instructing, and motivating my track team in high school by collaborating with my coaches. In this role, I was able to manage, instruct, and motivate a track team of about fifty people and collaborate with five coaches. As a result of my skills, our track team was able to run more efficiently, giving the coaches time to work on more important duties, and ranking as the number two girls' track and field team in the state.Now at Indiana University, I continue to seek new opportunities and grow my professional and personal leadership. I am expanding my knowledge by enrolling in classes that prepare and push me to be a better professional. By being part of Hillel I get to be a part of a community and help build a community of my own. It is also a great way to make meaningful connections with other students and staff. I find joy in being part of such an amazing community on campus.During the next two years at Indiana University, I hope to grow my involvement by joining a summer abroad program to further expand my knowledge and perception of the world. To continue developing my team leadership and self-management skills, I look forward to beginning an internship that would highlight these skills in the future. Ultimately, I see myself pursuing a management career by improving and increasing business performance for organizations and other communities.
