My roles and responsibilities involve:-Writing grants, applications, and secure funding. -Supervise/mentor college and university child and youth care placement students.-Support middle-school, high-school, and post secondary students in their professional and personal development.-Liaise with local schools, community agencies and organizations to promote the program and recruit students.-Establish local and external partnerships to provide workshops to enhance the social and emotional strengths of YEA! participants in areas of: STEM, creative arts, leadership, pre-employment, etc. -Ensure that the program meets the targeted Social Development Plan (SDP) in the areas of safety and community building. -Work 1:1 with youth and families to meet their needs through outreach to local supports.
