Nora is a special reindeer, she has autism. She likes to play alone with her toys. She does not like to talk or play very much with the other reindeer. She also does not like loud noises and lights. Santa and the Elves understand and try to assist her.

Responsible for in home patient evaluations, documentation and treatment. Create a plan to restore function, reduce pain, improve mobility and improve patient’s quality of life. On a team with a PTA, supervise and direct the patient’s interventions, modify progression regularly to ensure safety for every patient.

Responsible for staff scheduling, maintaining compliance with Medicare requirements, and assist with payroll processing. Perform patient evaluations and treatment plans for incoming patients. Majority of patients are orthopedic, post-surgical, sports medicine and spinal patients. Learned to analyze salary cost/visit program for planning, interviewed and hired all staff. Performed marketing to local doctors to increase referral sources.

Assist with internal and external marketing of clinic. Evaluated and treated a variety of motor vehicle, orthopedic and post-surgical patients. Updated computer system with insurance authorizations, worked on increasing communication between Physical Therapists and physicians regarding patient’s progress, developed and implemented mentoring program to help ensure clinical growth and development, and kept weekly statistics for the Physical Therapists.

Evaluated and treated a variety of orthopedic injuries and post-surgical patients, utilizing sports rehabilitation, back and neck stabilization programs, and pain management techniques. Work closely with area physicians, helped with staff scheduling and front desk operations. Involved with increasing compliance of Medicare guidelines, in order to improve reimbursement rates. Attended management classes to advance into an administrative position.

Evaluated and treated a variety of orthopedic injuries applying manual therapy techniques. Collaborated with ATC’s, PTA’s and PT’s on patient treatment programs providing a team approach. Involved with local high school athletic programs and attended injury clinics in the area with orthopedic surgeons.
