My work at Safe Yakima Valley is driven by my passion to empower youth and foster strong, resilient communities. With a focus on underserved groups, such as Hispanic/Latino and Native American population, my goal is to make a positive impact for my community.In my role, I co-lead the Partnership for Success (PFS) initiative. My efforts have significantly increased community engagement, enhanced program quality, and broadened our outreach efforts.Key Initiatives:• Co-founder of coalitions in Toppenish and Grandview where we focus on implementation Botvin LifeSkills programs and prevention clubs for local school districts.• Hosting Shreds N' Meds events, promoting safe medication disposal and shredding of sensitive documents for local community members.• Participating in national campaigns such as "Talk.
