Proudest accomplishments: Developing robust resources--websites, videos, infographics and more--for people living with rare diseases, making them feel heard and seen for the first time and giving hope to newly diagnosed families. Creating several new funding areas for a major biotech foundation, which now supports dozens of amazing organizations. Pitching and placing the first-ever front-page story about lung cancer, which appeared in the Boston Globe. Writing and creating lungcancer.org, which continues to be an awesome resource that my family recently turned to when my uncle was diagnosed. Successfully leading (and surviving!) a national clinical trials awareness tour with Lance Armstrong, major events, and media craziness all in one week at cancer centers across the country. Helping open the doors at Gilda's Club Kansas City and serving on the board for 9 years. Serving as a founding member of the board of the KC Healthcare Business Women's Association and helping firmly establish the chapter.
