Team leader, delivering social media strategy and programs to contribute to the marketing objectives of RBC and RBC Insurance. Along with a group of subject matter experts in social media marketing, collaborated with business marketing partners to bring hundreds of social media campaigns to market every year.

Joined Sun Life when its social media was still in its infancy, and spearheaded their dramatic growth within the social landscape. I helped establish the key role that social media now plays within Sun Life’s marketing, sales and customer experience efforts. In addition to overseeing Sun Life’s global social media strategy I led a team that delivered daily publishing and social advertising from Sun Life's Canadian channels. I was also charged with identifying new and innovative opportunities for leveraging social media to drive business results.

A unique position within Capital C to further the development of account teams. Primary focus was to support teams that are on-boarding new clients, and secondary focus was on developing teams with existing clients. Also acted as Group Account Director on Sun Life and Unilever 2010-2011.

As Capital C grew past the 100 person mark, it became necessary to restructure the company into "agencies within an agency." We introduced our POD structure and created the Group Account Director title. When it started, there were 4 PODs and I led one of them (all Unilever business excluding Dove). My dedicated team consisted of account people (both traditional and digital) and Print Producers. Our POD tapped into shared resources across the entire agency, and we were the group with the greatest diffusion across the creative department.

During this 2 year period, I took on our first non-Dove Unilever assignment and then lead the growth of this business over the next 3 years. We acquired 10 additional brands, doubling our Unilever revenue.

Joined Capital C when it was less than 20 people, and was a key player in the company's growth to well over 100. I hired, trained and managed dozens of talented people, and we worked on a wide variety of clients together. Highlights include: Kraft, Microsoft, Xbox, Universal Home Video, Gillette, Holt Renfrew, Frito Lay, Crayola, General Mills, and North York General Hospital. Awards won include: Promo!, Globe and Experiential Awards for Universal Home Video, Kraft, Xbox, Xbox 360 and North York General Hospital.
