I have the gift for gab, what can I say, except "Thanks Dad." Oh and It also translates over into writing.A lot of my writing is on other people's walls, aka, websites, marketing material, news letters, love letters, (just kidding on that one, but maybe?) or on their brains, because I spoke out loud to them, one on one and in groups, small and large, in hopes that they took away a good inspiring nugget, of sorts.If you ever come across that one person in your life who wants to push you out of your comfort zone, stop and listen to them.I had a professor (not in college) who came up to me after I gave my elevator pitch on my business, Consciously Hip. She said, "Wow, you were really good!" I sort of giggled out of embarrassment really, and she said "No! You don't understand. I don't give out compliments very often and you need to hear this." And, I kid you not, she said "Most women's voices annoy me, but you have a really good tone. I think you should be doing this for a living." I was scared straight, I tell you. I think I blacked out just giving the elevator pitch. Who am I to be doing this? Well, I am me apparently. The professor, immediately set up 3 voice coaching lessons for me and after I completed them, she asked me to come back to her entire entrepreneur class to give a talk. My very first talk was "Positively Passionate", I will never forget it. She believed in me, more than I believed in myself. She saw something in me and wanted to draw it out. Not because she wanted anything from me, just because. She made a huge impression on me. I am forever grateful to her.I am a truth teller, a realist, but still a dreamer, not a comedian, but I have a sense of humor, I am forever evolving and a story teller. Not the fake kind, but the real kind. And I want to help others learn their story, the positive ones, and utilize it too. To live as big as they possibly can and measured in a way that is personal to them. I want to help ignite your light!

Consciously Hip was founded based on my desire to promote positive action through a community based website, apparel line and accessories. • Created the concept, mission statement, all website content and marketing materials.• Researched, developed and executed the concept, branding, trademarks, trade shows and wholesale distribution.• Sourced artists, illustrators, photographers, textiles, printing companies, distribution centers and marketing materials.• Arranged and facilitated informal focus groups to gain insight into demographics.• Executed the entire launch of the company at Magic Marketplace, the largest apparel trade show in the world.
