Peats Ridge

The not for profit 3-day Festival began in 2004 as Australia’s first sustainable festival event, attracting in excess of 15,000 festival goers. Directed the concept, management and delivery of ‘Kids on the Hill’, a 3-day annual family festival at the heart of the Peats Ridge Festival. Included programming, volunteer employment and management, budget management, decoration design, event planning. Responsibilities • Creative Direction: Set objectives and conceptually developed a dynamic family festival which met the aesthetic, educational and sustainable philosophies of the Peats Ridge Festival. Researched current trends in family festivals and the target market contributing to a proposal which excelled its goals.• Marketing: Identified marketing avenues for the family department and planned marketing approach with the Marketing Manager.
