Instruct and support opportunity youth ages 18 - 24 in an academic and work readiness program funded through the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development.Develop curriculum and lesson plans and facilitate all academic instruction to prepare participants for a career in Human Services. Provide Work Readiness, Financial and Digital Literacy workshops in addition to facilitating instruction for CPR/First Aid Certification and Staff Level trainings in Workplace Harrassment, Fire Safety and Trauma Informed practices.Additional responsibilities include: developing internship sites, supervising interns, communicating with and visiting internship sites to ensure mentorship standards are being met and effectively remedying any issues. Producing high-level outcomes resulting in nationally recognized certification and employment in Human Services field.As the instructor for Work Readiness, Financial Literacy and credentials (Customer Service, Food Handling and Cleaning Management), I developed and facilitated all personal & professional development workshops to prepare participants for the workforce and increase their employability.My role also included digital transformation, recruitment, community engagement and developing & supervising internship sites.

As a Job Developer, I built relationships with recruiters and Human Services managers to identify job opportunities for the individuals we supported along with providing career counseling to job seekers. Active communication with multiple departments within the organization was critical to ensuring appropriate job placements and job retention.
