About Michelle Tran
I could write a stereotypical blurb about all the great things I've done here but I'll spare you the boring details. When I took up my first HR job over ten years ago, my manager at the time handed me a copy of "First, Break all the Rules" - that's what I've been doing ever since (breaking rules, not still reading the book). As a HR/People Partner, I've enjoyed the excitement and ambiguity of hypergrowth as well as the challenging side of evaluating synergy and organizational design. I've learned one thing: a "people-first" approach will always lead to positive employee experiences. To me - you can call it what you want, "HR", "People & Talent", "People & Culture", "Talent & Organization" - it's always about the people. I get the most energy from aligning to my people - my business leaders (currently CMO & CFO) as not only a business partner but a trusted coach and advisor; building a truly great place to work not just by checking off buzzwords and initiatives; and prioritizing personal and professional development for all team members. Some other fun-ish stuff about me:World traveler. Endlessly curious. Self-proclaimed tequila connoisseur. Reality TV & pop culture aficionado. Passionate about all things People & Culture. Let's talk about solving organizational challenges through people-related solutions.
Listed skills include Human Resources, Microsoft Office, Social Media, Customer Service, and 13 others.
