About Michelle Tullier, Phd, Ccc

My mission is to uncomplicate careers, helping young adults figure out what they want to do and how to get there. I take seemingly impossible – or at least daunting – situations and reveal the possibilities for greater career satisfaction and success. MY SPECIALTIESIn addition to so-called "typical" situations (young adults exploring and launching careers without any significant impact from neurodiversity or mental health issues), I have special expertise in:* Moving past the dreaded “Failure to Launch” label.* Bringing clarity to career quandaries after someone has worked a couple or several years -- Should I change career fields? Apply to grad school? How do I begin to look for a new job? How do I get unstuck?* Choosing, changing, and managing careers when neurodiversity, addiction recovery, or mental health concerns are getting in the way.* Networking for introverts and others intimidated by the process (or who simply don’t like it or don’t know how).* Creating strategic career documents (resumes, LinkedIn profiles, networking messages, and more) that incorporate cutting edge technology (ATSs, keyword optimization, ChatGPT) without losing sight of one’s personal brand and voice. MY CREDENTIALS*Awarded one of the highest honors in the field of career counseling and career coaching: Outstanding Career Practitioner by the National Career Development Association.*30+ years of experience across private practice, colleges and universities, global corporate outplacement, and web-based career services.* Author of nine career and self-help books through major publishers including Random House and Wiley. Author of numerous professional articles published in national journals and magazines.* Trainer and mentor to several hundred career counselors and coaches through prior faculty and leadership roles. Currently teach a seminar on career counseling/coaching of clients with anxiety.* PhD in psychology and special expertise in the convergence of career development with neurodiversity, mental health, and addiction recovery. Particularly experienced with career issues complicated by anxiety, executive functioning, ADHD, and autism.GEOGRAPHICALLY AGNOSTICMy Zoom clients have ranged from Tokyo, to Toronto and Vancouver, Los Angeles and San Francisco, to Utah and Colorado, to New Hampshire, Maine, and London, with heavy concentrations in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut, as well as Atlanta and many other states.
