•Attend kick off meeting to get familiar with the new product and to facilitate the Work Instruction.•Responsible for increasing productivity through combined work steps, removing non-value added tasks, and the development of effective work practices.•Study operation sequence, material flow and liaise with manufacturing leaders to determine worker functions and responsibilities.•Conducts training for newly hired production operators and monitor their learning curve, as well as facilitating the refresher training for the existing operators to maintain the standards.•Designed and implemented effective production processes.•Monitored quality improvement and implemented corrective action procedures.•Monitored and set manpower requirement based on the required production plan•Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization.•Lead continuous improvement by determining downtime cost and utilizing proven problem-solving methods to identify root cause.•Developed work standards/process documentation and checklists in order to provide a definite reference on the current process operations.•Updating and revising the control plan and PFMEA based on any changes in the process and for new models.•Conduct motion and time study to define production tact time on different line operations in order to assess current production capability and production bottlenecks.•Review process related defects and recommends corrective action for its improvement in order to produce higher productivity yield.
