Accountable for leading a team of 6 financial accountants to facilitate timely and accurate management accounting, statutory compliance, enhance internal controls and deliver finance process improvements across 5 legal entities with operations across NSW, VIC and QLD in Australia. Actively support shared services P/L owners to manage their costs within budgets. Collaborate with operations and finance business partners to achieve sustainable financial performance. My key achievements include accelerated month end close by 5 work days, improved visibility of balance sheet risks, implementation of AASB 15, AASB 16 and AASB 1060 accounting and reporting standards, rebuilding and coaching a high performing financial controls team, improving collaboration with operations teams to implement processes and procedures around the management of $15m DSOA funding to support Aruma's 100 DSOA clients.

Responsible for managing a team of 2 senior financial accountants and 10 billing administrators through a reorganisation from finance to operations. Collaborate with Operations to implement NDIS price guide changes in the billing system in the shortest time possible and resolve operational billing issues that have negative impact on customer experience and the organisation's cash flows.

Responsible for working with Billing and Operations to understand root causes for unbilled revenue, implementing action plans with clear action owners (internal and external), working with these action owners to resolve issues to facilitate billing for services rendered and subsequent collection of those billings.

Accountable for internal controls and accounting compliance of 70 legal entities in ASEAN/Pacific region, controllership functional transformation and active business partnering with business finance and other support functions including but not limited to tax, treasury, legal, real estate, HR and IT. My key achievements include setting up a high performing ASEAN/Pacific controllership team comprising 23 FTEs, transforming controllership processes, providing technical accounting support for significant business transactions and integration of 3 acquisitions of various sizes. I was recognised by the corporate controller with an employee spot award for my contributions towards the successful global transition of our external audit account to Deloitte.

Accountable for internal controls compliance, accurate and timely US GAAP and statutory reporting of 50 entities (USD1.5B revenue) in the ACS strategic business group, driving process improvements and operational efficiency and active partnering with business finance and other support functions. My key achievements include running the shared service center that was responsible for high volume general accounting and closing the books within 5 business days, achieving 95% effective corporate audit reports and transitioning back end accounting processes to third party service provider within 18 months.

Executed successful transition of transactional accounting processes for 30 reporting entities (USD1.2B revenue) from internal shared service center to external shared services provider in Dalian, China.

Drove completion of due diligence and integration of Asia Pacific entities of USD38M revenue global acquisition within 18 months from acquisition date. Recognized by ACS Global Controller with employee spot award.

Led completion of Sarbanes Oxley controls documentation, testing and rectification of controls weaknesses across Honeywell strategic business groups in Asia Pacific to ensure global compliance with US legislative requirements.
