I own an intimate care x sexual wellness brand called Hygiene Hero based in California, USA. After spending 30+ years managing global skincare and nutrition brands helping women find strengths and discover their own beauty, I now devote my time to improving the quality of women's lives through elevating their selfcare and intimate joy. I call it "Taking Care of Our Second Face". A little bit about my path before Hygiene Hero: I launched my career in the US in 1993 with Mary Kay Inc. and my job was to help them enter the China market. Today, Mary Kay’s China sales exceeds well over $1 billion a year. Later I joined Shaklee Corporation, a CA-based leading natural nutrition company, as marketing director of Asia-Pacific, then Vice President of e-Business and helped them convert 50% of sales to online in two years and saved millions $ in customer service costs each year . This sounds like nothing today but we did this in 2001-2003, super early in the internet age for a company with a non-tech savvy customer base of an average age of 60+! Then, I took on the position of Sr. Vice President of international and helped Shaklee successfully enter numerous Asian markets including China. I moved to Shanghai as an expat in 2008, quit and started my own business in 2010.I opened China’s first green and organic beauty store called myLOHAS beauty in 2011 in Shanghai and subsequently opened another 13 stores in the following three years. To stay cruelty-free due to China’s animal testing requirements, we transformed our business model to cross-border e-commerce and changed our name to GREEN & Gorgeous in 2016. We helped countless international clean beauty & wellness brands enter China. I launched Hygiene Hero in 2020 and entered the intimate care cateory in 2022 and sexual wellness in fall 2023. Authenticity, compassion and healthy beauty are the three principles I live by. I have personally rescued or sponsored hundreds of animal rescue missions in China and help them find homes domestically or overseas. And both of my companies have organized philanthropic events such as China’s first fur-free fashion gala in 2016 and continue to contribute to causes that promote animal welfare and women development.
