As a teacher assistant, I worked closely with the head of the mathematics department to ensure that our students were receiving a high-quality education in algebra, geometry, probability and statistics. To achieve this, I followed the department's guidelines and developed lesson plans that were engaging, informative, and effective at helping our students learn the fundamental principles of mathematics.In addition to this, I also taught first-year computer science students how to program using the Python language. I also worked closely with the department's evaluation team to monitor the progress of my students and to identify areas where improvements could be made.Finally, I was responsible for marking students' work and providing them with detailed feedback on their performance. This feedback helped them to improve their skills and to become more confident in their abilities, which is crucial for success in any academic field.
