Full-Time Board Year (approximately 50/60 hours per week)Aureus is the faculty association for all students of the studies Economics and Business, Business Administration and International Business Administration at VU University Amsterdam. With over 4,500 members and 180 active members, Aureus is one of the largest and most active faculty associations in the Netherlands. Aureus’ mission is to provide students of the faculty with extra value and benefits by offering them a wide range of professional services and activities. During the academic year, Aureus organizes approximately 90 academic, career and social oriented events. As Vice-chairman of the Aureus board, my main focus lies on developing and maintaining the long term strategy of the faculty association. In addition I have the following responsibilities:

• Contact with Faculty Board, Head of Department Professors and the Board of Advice• Development of political and diplomatic network
• Development of sustainable alumni network
• Collaboration with ‘de Bijlespartner’
• Supervising Board Member of the following committees: Amsterdam Academic Conference, Alumni, VuNewsroom, MSC Economics, MSC Entrepreneurship, MSC Finance/Financial Management, MSC Marketing.
