End responsible for the global accounts (Accor, Marriott, IHG, Radisson etc) within the EMEA region with a yearly revenue of €1 bln. Together with the team global, long-term contracts were negotiated which involved internal + external stakeholders on C-level. By globally implementing mutual agreed initiatives, yearly revenue growth was achieved. Together with a team of 8 FTE in Amsterdam, we work with 134 EMEA offices to assure regional alignment and focus. Within the EMEA team I worked in a matrix organisation setup with ±65 people focussed on global chains for their specific country.

End responsible for the Netherlands for all commercial activities and revenue growth. Together with a team of 35 FTE (sales, operations, customer success & key account management) we are working together with +18.000 hotels, chains, groups and other accommodations. By sharing data-driven business insights and performing business consults, we are able to create strong partnerships and assure mutual top-line revenue growth. During my time at as Area Manager, I was able to grow the revenue from €75mln to €180mln. Furthermore, I have been working closely with industry stakeholders to assure a positive relationship and business alignment. This was achieved by delivering market presentations, product updates and PR meetings. During this period I have taken on two interim assignments of 6 months as Area Manager for Sweden (2017) and Belgium (2016). The goal of these assignments were to restructure the teams to increase performance and reputation in the specific markets.
