Helicus is an innovating company which leads the Helicus Aero Initiative. This initiative aims to connect hospitals by using Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV). It will allow hospitals to transport blood products, human tissue and biologic samples more efficiently, effectively avoiding any road traffic. As a functional analyst it is my job to think about the necessary functionality of the product and the implementation thereof.

Using the knowledge gained from my bachelor's in computer science, I explored the exciting benefits and concept behind Normalized Systems. The Normalized Systems methodology allows the developper to create scalable software systems which exhibit dynamic modularity. I helped create the framework for the Helicus Aero Initiative (HAI). Abiding by the Normalized Systems methodoloy, I set up a well-designed data model for this project and thus provided a good base for NSX to start building up the required software system.
