City Pirates: much more than football. As a third division team in Belgium we currently give a 1000 youngsters the chance to play their hearts out on the football pitch, but that's not all: we are a social football project. Development of players doesn't end on the pitch, we want to develop them and their families on a personal level. By meetings with schools and by visiting the players at home we have a great view on the personal situation of every player. This gives us the opportunity to give personal assistance. We know that only a really small percentage of young players can become a professional football player. For that reason we insist to help our players on education and job search.
