Changer designs Safety Software with the optimal balance between acceptability for both workfloor employees, mid-offices and management.Changer has a mobile first approach and always supports processes on the most convenient device in order to support the client in the best way possible. Changer employs specialists in the use of mobile technology, social technology and cloud applications, as well as experienced software developers. The software is offered as SaaS (Software as a Service): Everywhere available, no hardware investments needed and fully scalable.I am responsible for the Finance and Operations departments, what includes financial reporting, legal, professional services and implementations, support, quality assurance, training & documentation and product management.Furthermore I have an overall responsibility for professionalizing the organization and transform it into a product organization, in order to be ready for fast growth.Achieved:✔ Acquisition of an investment from a professional venture capitalist in order to grow;✔ Setting up and professionalize Finance & Operations from scratch;✔ Successful implementations at customers like BP, KPN and Imperial Tabacco;✔ Agile implementation in development;✔ Setting up online marketing;✔ Transition from a professional services organization into a product organization.

Veliq is a fast growing IT company that provides Software as a Service for Mobile Device Management (MDM).In my role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) I was responsible for professional services, support, quality assurance, training & documentation, hosting & infrastructure and product management.Within 3 years the company increased from a start-up with 18 to 70 employees. My Operations team increased from 3 to 20 employees.The most important goal reached was the professionalization of the organization in order to support the fast growth. Every year the revenue doubled, while the number of customers and managed devices more than tripled year over year.Achieved::✔ The professionalization of the organization in order to support the fast growth and to increase scalability to support (international) future growth;✔ Managing the growth of the department from 3 to 20 FTE in three years;✔ Leading successful implementations at customers like T-Systems, Vodafone, KPN, Bayer, Portugal Telecom and Cap Gemini; ✔ Managing the project for the introduction of Freemium for KPN with 60,000 customers and 600,000 mobile devices (project team with 35 people);✔ Off-shoring of a part of the QA process to Poland.

IBS is a world-leading provider of supply chain management software and services to distribution and manufacturing companies.Nr. of employees within Central Europe:535 Revenue: € 92 million. In this role I was responsible for Finance and Legal within CE. I was operationally responsible for 35 employees in the countries. Achieved:✔ The (financial) integration of the different countries within CE, standardizing the financial processes and decreasing monthly reporting from 12 to 8 working days;✔ Development of a sales forecast and reporting system;✔ Heavily involved in the operational integration of The Netherlands and Belgium on one hand and Germany and Switzerland on the other hand into two operational units; ✔ The UK unit was reorganized and in France we sold one part of the organization;✔ CE was the only IBS region outperforming on both revenue and profit.

Nr. of employees within the Netherlands: 180Revenue: € 25 million. I was responsible for Finance, Legal and Facilities management. 10 employees were directly reporting to me. Achieved:✔ From 2002 the Finance department was transformed from a registrative, reactive department to a good, professional team with the focus on as well internal as external customers in a pro active way, adding value to the company.✔ Increased awareness by management and employees of the importance of correct input, resulting in valuable KPI’s;✔ Implementation of a new timesheet and billing system, including management reporting via Cognos (globally adopted);✔ Implementation of a new accounts receivable collection process, resulting in a 35% decrease of outstanding accounts receivable;✔ Several other system and process improvements.
