I began working here as a desktop computer technician in 1999. After a year on the job, I was given a promotional raise and a few more server-related responsibilities. Approximately 1 year later, I was promoted to my latest position.In my final 6 years of employment at WISD, I was responsible for maintaining & upgrading our GroupWise email system, a Linux financial system, an Avaya Definity PBX, an Avaya Intuity Audix voice mail system, a county-wide spam filtering system, and several other smaller systems. I was also responsible for project management in the implementation of several new systems.Finally, I have been fortunate enough to be able to practice some programming/scripting. My scripting language of choice is PHP. A few years ago, I wrote the trouble ticket system that the agency currently uses for technology related service requests. I have also written a system which parses syslog data and generates on-the-fly statistics and graphs for our spam filter.
