I head a team of editors, report to founding team, edit essays, and liaise with writers over rewrites and corrections on this non-profit, community-sourced project.The book is out in almost all major bookstores in Malaysia - MPH, Kinokuniya, Borders.

I started off as a production volunteer on the set of the second video, where I contributed as a makeup artist. After a few meetings and some shared efforts, I was invited to join the core team as a permanent member.

I get to work on intelligent stuff that excites me. Writing, research, editing and curating is part of what I do.

Malaysia

+ Marketing: Wrote press releases, synopses and monthly highlights for Li TV’s shows and events. Reached out to high-profile international celebrities and crafted in-depth, high quality interview questions. Updated social media accounts with timely and relevant content. Assisted with Admin duties and handled regional shipping of premiums, contest prizes, etc.+ Production: Heavy research for both local and international show content, offered ideas for The Link vignettes, crafted script questions, and provided on-site assistance during shoots.+ Content: Conducted research on show content, assisted in content vendor listing and research.

A philanthropic volunteer organisation aimed at bettering the lives of others: the disenfranchised and the lesser privileged.

Handled numerous responsibilities including:i) work on Poskod, a community website,ii) promoting a Mars Food Asia product,iii) publicity efforts for the Follow The Light musical and supervised front of house duties both remotely and on-site, iv) PR for the non profit organization, Stop Motion Project.v) PopWire weekly summaries for local radio station, BFM.

i) facilitated inter-department communication (Creative & Accounts).ii) assisted supervisor with duties i.e. compiled annual cost estimate review.iii) prepared monthly and annual reviews of brand advertisements.iv) attended meetings with certain clients and other contracted agencies.v) conducted outdoor market research on brands for specific accounts.vi) edited, translated, subtitled, & analyzed advertisements in various forms (video, print, radio),

i) provided write-ups and photographs when story pitches are approved.ii) wrote article on Taylor’s University’s 2009 Media Carnival event.iii) interviewed Alan Wu, host of Amazing Race Asia, who officiated the event.iv) centre-page spread for commisioned photographs of Cameron Highlands.

Wrote articles on commissioned topics, e.g. MUET, STPM, and the UNSW International Competitions and Assessment for Schools (ICAS).
