Ive been self employed since I left British Coal in 1992, after 10 years underground. I then became a sales director of a Worldwide Vehicle supply Company for 10 Years before before starting my own flooring supply and fitting Company. This my wife still runs today, as local Goverment takes up most of my time.I'm still involved with the company, doing the estimating and surveying and over looking the Contract side. Most of my time is taken up with my Council work, being Deputy Mayor and a local Councillor. I love helping people in any way I can, which is why I'm involved with the Council. I love my Town, and I'm very proud to be a representitive for the Council.We have some great ideas and plans for improving our District and will hopefully be able to see some exciting projects come to fruition in the near future.As for my other interests, I love football and even ran, managed and trained a local Football Team for over 20 years .I also love to spend time with my family and friends, like most people I suppose.
