As IT Operations/Infrastructure Manager I Currently manage a team of 6 staff consisting of IT technicians, Senior IT technician and Network Infrastructure Technician. I am responsible for operational duties for the running of IT. I am also single handedly responsible for the maintenance/ Planning and upgrading as nessecary of our entire IT Infrastructure which consists of over 120 Servers ranging from Linux to Server 2019 and every system installed on them, Exchange 2016, SCCM, SQL Server (all versions) to mention a couple. VMware 6.7 Infrastructure, the EMC Storage, as well as our Dell Compellent Storage and the networking, wireless, firewalls, Mitel VoIP system also falls under my remit to monitor and deal with.

as System Network Administrator I was responsible for the IT Systems from the VMware 3.5 Infrastructure to the EMC Storage and the around 80 servers along with all the software installed like SQL and Exchange 2003.

During my time at Regent College I developed my skills on the job, I was part of a 2 staff IT team and played all major parts in taking the college from a 2 Novell server network with 100 windows 95 workstation to a 19 Windows server 750 workstation network running windows XP. In 2006 for a 4 month period after a staff absence I was promoted to acting Network Manager and was put in charge of recruiting another IT technician to help with day to day duties and as a direct result of this upon the return of the Network manager I was promoted to Senior IT technician where I was put in charge of all the servers and systems that we ran.

General Technician Duties. re-installing Windows NT 4 Workstation, office and joining to the domain, Import new users onto the NT4 Domain as well as onto the os/2 warp server, Support IT Lessons, repair PCs and printers and other general technical duties.
