As a qualified accountant I have spent my professional career reviewing the financial performance of businesses with the primary purpose of identifying opportunities for improvement, developing the improvement initiative and realising the result. Key to my success has been the development and engagement of high performing accountable teams, which I believe are essential for organizational success. In addition to achieving in the professional arena, I have taken these learnings and applied them to my own boutique beef cattle operations, which I mange using low stress, holistic farming techniques, and have been able to realise improvements in pasture quality, animal welfare and operational efficiency. Cattle farming is my passion and I have left the corporate world with a view to continue my career in the primary production industry.
