Since starting at Hi Speed I have Project managed the following.Installation of tablet display boards into 625 High Street stores across the UK & Ireland, we used 5 teams of 3 made up of an IT Engineer, Carpenter & Electrician, after the Pilot phase we were completing 40 Stores per week.PC, Scanner , Chip & Pin EPOS system upgrade to 551 High Street stores across the UK & Ireland, 1 Engineer was completing 2 stores per day, work included a controlled shut down and removal from site of the existing EPOS system, installing new equipment and configuring from a pre built USB stick.Weekend relocation of over 100 call centre desks which included, all IT equipment de-installed and crated, personal items crated and sealed, all transported to new location and installed ready for normal trading on Monday.Hi Speed also managed the Dilapidation's after the relocation, making huge savings for our client Chip & PIn upgrade to 560 High Street stores across the UK & Ireland, each Engineer was visiting 2 stores per day, removing old equipment, installing and configuring a minimum of 2 devices per store.Between the larger projects I have also managed various re-fit programmes. Engineers visit the stores to de-install all IT equipment, package and remove back to our warehouse, once the refit is complete (usually between 10 & 14 days) the Engineer will return to the store, install & test the equipment.Hi Speed have offices & storage facilities in Rugby & Ash Vale operating a fleet of vehicles across the UK.

After training and working as a Fabricator welder since leaving school, I was offered the opportunity to move into the Printing trade in 1983. Once my training was complete I worked my way up to managing the business, finally buying the company in 1999. Unfortunately I had to liquidate the company in 2013 due mainly to the recession and the advent of on line Print companies.
