Brilliant!I was the sole employee in the initial years, engaged in product design and development, manufacturing process development, as well as packaging design, in conjunction with various contractors and suppliers. I was also involved in patent acquisition. Subsequently, I oversaw manufacturing, marketing, sales and logistics (to the dental, pharmacy and retail trade, in Ireland and the UK), as well as undertaking invoicing, purchasing, credit control, payroll, etc. I also managed the HR function. In due course, after we ceased our own manufacturing operation, I was responsible for managing relationships with our US and European licensees.Gross cumulative sales worldwide, since we licensed our product, are in excess of $200m, so I feel a deep sense of pride about what we’ve achieved.
