RAAF Ground Defence Officer- (In Australia) lead and train a platoon strength team to secure a base and deny enemy infiltration.(Deployed overseas Role 1) Officer in Charge of a specialist team who provided secure personal escort to a General and his colleagues, within the area of operation. I was required to conduct detailed mission planning, orders, rehearsals and liaison with other organisations and back brief intelligence elements following each mission.(Deployed overseas Role 2) Officer in Charge of providing reception, staging, orientation and integration of all Australian Defence Force personnel deploying to the Middle East area of Operations. My primary task was instructing all members on key area and operations briefs and coordinating specialist medical, explosive and shooting training.
