  I have been the operations supervisor at the Nyrstar Tippler & CSB since July 2008. There have been three companies that have held the contract here in my time.The tippler is a mechanical means of empting rail wagons of raw product into a conveyor system that goes to storage bins.The CSB (concentrate storage bins) holds the product then sends the raw product through a conveyor system to the mixing plant.I enjoy the challenge that the tippler give in an operational sense & the maintenance that is needed for the age of the plant.Some of my duties include• Organise & co-ordinate maintenance for the tippler & CSB. • Co-ordinate with contract manager & Participating in maintenance planning meetings with Nyrstar.• Lead and manage toolbox meetings.• Write up work procedure & safety procedures.• Record & maintain monthly KPI for the Tippler.• Microsoft: word, excel, outlook, SAP, computer literate.prior to working at Nyrstar I spent 15 months working at Olympic Dam on the fixed plant maintenance crew underground. I was self-employed for 13 years doing broad acre spraying. Having my own computerised spray rig, servicing rural farms around the New England region of NSW.I spent 4 years working at a bowling club serving club patron & assisting with daily operation of the club. I started my mechanical experience at my family’s Diesel fuel injection business. During this time I supervised at two other Diesel fuel injection business one in Tamworth NSW & the other in Lay Papa New Guinea. After these two experiences I ended up going back & running the family business after my Father retied. I took over the business & managed this business for 10 years.
