• Implementation of a ISO14001 certified Company and Client Environmental Management System and Rio Tinto Iron Ore HSEQ Management System• Management of various Part IV and Part V Approvals, NVCP’s, 5C dewatering and water extraction licences, Mining Proposals, Programmes of Work, Bed & Banks, Main Roads WA approvals etc.• Preparation of approvals documentation – 5C and 26D licences, works approvals, dewatering, water quality monitoring plans• Regulatory and internal approvals compliance auditing• Regular liaison with the Client and external Government stakeholders (Water Corporation/Department of Parks and Wildlife) • Aboriginal heritage management and liaison with Traditional Owners• Contractor engagement and management • Contractor compliance auditing and inspections to ensure compliance with project environmental managements plans and legal requirements.• Review of contractor CRAWs, EMPs, JHAs, WMS for compliance to project, legal and other requirements• Practical environmental monitoring including the implementation of water quality (surface and ground) sampling programs, native vegetation, soil, weed and dust monitoring. This has included the preparation and control of samples for in house and laboratory testing. • Operational environmental database management – native vegetation clearing, water consumption, contaminated sites, water quality, borrow pit development, environmental incidents, weed monitoring • Timely assessment, mapping and on ground implementation of clearing permits for contractor work activities to ensure compliance to all environmental and heritage approvals and legislation.• Management of rehabilitation activities• Development of weekly, monthly and annual environmental reports (including NGERs and NPI data) • Facilitate and participate in internal, client and external audits• Development, delivery and documenting environmental training and awareness programs • Incident management and reporting

• Management, approval and issue of clearing permits onsite• Monitor approval limits and criteria to ensure project compliance with regulatory approvals and commitments• Manage, handle and report any injured/rescued fauna• Participate and contribute in contractor kick off and progress meetings and HSE Advisor meetings• Conduct regular environmental audits and inspections against ISO14001 requirements, environmental management plan requirements and design criteria• Facilitate, lead and participate in weekly site inspection, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) audits and safety Interactions• Inspection of site rehabilitation efforts • Participate and contribute to project risk assessment workshops• Conduct environmental monitoring (e.g. water, clearing, air) as required and assist in the collation of data for reporting• Assist in environmental incident investigations and reports• Ensure timely close-out of site-based corrective actions• Maintain records of all monitoring data and other information which demonstrate compliance with legal and other requirements, including but not limited to; clearing data, water monitoring results, dust results, fauna mortality, contaminated sites and weed monitoring• Develop, deliver and document environmental training and induction programmes to site personnel
