Position entailed the work on project for subsea instrumentation for the oil & gas industry.Project activities were from assisting managers in bidding, initial concepts for the bespoke instrument designs, detailed design in 3-D CAD and drawing production.Working with vendors to supply quotations and assist in manufacture of components and set up of project plans to schedule of work activities.Hands on work, building up and testing of instruments during the assembly.FAT and commissioning work, both on Tracereco work site and vendors sites.Travel abroad to pre-commissioning & commission completed instrument assemblies on client sites.Assist Tracerco’s RPS with preparations and installation of radioactive sources.Have received training for all the necessary work requirements, this included;Radiological Protection Course, Working in Hazardous Areas, Overhead Crane handling and slinging.
