As a leader of Beca’s Defence & National Security team in Australia, I am responsible for the provision of our services the Australian Defence Force (ADF) and National Security Agencies, and organisations that support the ADF and those Agencies in serving Australia. I've been part of the Beca team in Australia since April 2017, delivering the full suite of Beca services to our Defence & National Security sector clients. In my previous career as a Marine Engineer Officer in the Royal Australian Navy, I benefitted from a broad range of experience which included the oversight and management of the Engineering Departments as their Head in HMA Ships Newcastle and Success, and the maintenance of professional standards of Marine Engineering Departments in RAN Ships as a member of the Fleet Headquarters Staff. In non operational postings, I was engaged in a wide variety of functional areas which provided exposure to project management, personnel management, the Australian Department of Defence's Capability Development processes, and the reinvigoration of the RAN's seaworthiness assurance and engineering capabilities following the Rizzo Reform Program.
