Responsibilities• Reporting to the I.T. and Communications director. Advising the I.T. and Communications director on more efficient ways to manage the business and determine future goals and strategy.• Integrate two separate I.T. teams from two different businesses.• Manage two new sections within the department, Development and Support.• Recruite/ train members of staff to fill skill gaps within the department.• Assisting in the budgeting of the departments expenditure.

Responsibilities• Responsible to the Information Systems Controller.• Specification and development of in-house bespoke systems.• Production of management reports.• Support of the businesses EPOS and back office systems.• Maintenance of the business IBM I-Series machine (Hardware and Software).• Maintenance of the businesses tilling machines and desktop PC’s (Hardware and Software).• Advise the business on appropriate solutions to technical issues.• Backup and disaster recovery management.
