WHO ARE WE?Australian Compliance Service was established in 2001 by Mick Stevens. For the previous 10 years Mick worked as the Technical and Service Manager for several importers of major appliances into Australia and New Zealand. Since establishing Australian Compliance Service, our aim has been to take on the approval and compliance requirements of our clients so that our clients can get on with running their business. We are here to fit all the pieces of the puzzle together and to help our clients meet their legal obligations when supplying their products to the Australian & New Zealand market. "Approval" of our clients product (sometimes referred to as SAA Approval) is our focus. Australian Compliance Service is a privately owned, independant consultancy firm which provides a smooth pathway for manufacturers, importers and suppliers of electrical and gas products into Australia and New Zealand, to obtain the necessary approvals, before they enter our market. Most items are also required to meet EMC requirements (use to be called C-Tick) and In some case you are also required to comply with energy and MEPS requirements, and requirements for various types of refrigeration gases.
