I started as an Electricians mate in 1986 for a one man band Graham Skingley. Here I gained knowledge and experience and it confirmed that this was where I wanted to make my career. I worked with Graham for 3 years before moving to Chelmsford Electrical. I decided to go to Dovedales College in Chelmsford where I gained a NVQ level 3 becoming a fully qualified Electrician. I always had in mind to start my own business but I worked at Chelmsford Electrical for 13 years gaining maxium experience in residential and commercial works, running projects as a working foreman etc. I started MT Electrical in 1999 and I have built the company to a reasonable size with the help of a good team. To begin with we worked mainly on domestic works before moving into the commercial sector. We currently run about 50% residential and 50% commerical still with the same good team behind me. We can carry out a range of services from design to testing and inspection, domestic rewires, new build, commerical, retail fast track, maintenance management and much more. Future plans involve further growth whilst still retaining our good reputation.
