• Responsible for meeting and maintaining company KPI’s to an acceptable level in conjunction with the operations teams throughout Northern Gulf (KSA, Bahrain and Qatar) area. • Instigated an effective and robust service scheduling system for use across the region resulting in improving equipment reliability (reducing breakdowns) and customer satisfaction while, then, being able to plan manpower allocation.• Sourcing and recruiting candidates for all operations roles. • Planned and executed a changeover of 50 power equipments for a mobile telecommunications company in Bahrain to provide prime power for reception masts. This was completed, as planned, over an 8 day period whilst ensuring nil down time of mobile reception.• Planning of efficiency drives using Six Sigma tools to reduce running costs while becoming more operationally effective. Instigated a 5S system throughout the depot for all administrative and operational functions to ensure best use of resources.• Monitor and control stock holdings to match fleet and utilisation together with identifying non-moving and obsolete parts for disposal. • Promoting and leading a positive H&S culture by way of endorsing the H&S management and policies driven by the company down to all staff. Achieving nil lost time injuries (LTI’s) over my tenure.• Attending quarterly group management meeting to specify and plan group and country strategy for utilisation, major repairs, inter-depot & inter-country movement of equipment and PPM.

Service Manager responsible Scoping, preparing and installing single sets, synchronised sets and multi MW sites for the Eastern and Western Province of Saudi Arabia. Responsible for the Pre Planned Maintenance and reactive maintenance and repair of a rental fleet with over 200 Generators, 30-1250 KVA, and 50 Temperature Control equipments throughout Saudi Arabia while managing over 30 multi-national staff. Responsible for all QHSE matters within the Depot including weekly H&S meetings and training, controlling stock levels to best suit the fleet, costing of major repairs in line with company policy and asset value.

Foreman of the Generator Department responsible for ensuring uninterrupted delivery of prime power to over 9,000 troops spread over Afghanistan by means of over 320 generators varying from 22 kVA stand alone sets to 6250 kVA Generator Farms. Managing 35 multi-national staff (British, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Indian, South African and Afghani) under extremely harsh conditions. Duties included training of staff, calibration of control panels and Farms, registering, costing & requisition of stores, estimating and processing of New Works, coordination of Preventative Planned Maintenance and reactive maintenance, Health & Safety CITB toolbox talks and providing timely and accurate reports on a weekly and monthly basis to higher authority.

Manager of the Power Generation Department responsible for ensuring uninterrupted delivery of prime power to over 5,000 troops spread over southern Iraq and Kuwait by means of over 240 generators varying from 22 kVA stand alone sets to 3,300 kVA Generator Farms. Managing 32 multi-national staff (12 British, 11 Pakistani, 5 Iraqi and 4 Bosnian) under extremely harsh conditions. Duties included training of staff, calibration of control panels and Farms, registering, costing & requisition of stores, estimating and processing of Purchase Orders, coordination of Preventative Planned Maintenance and reactive maintenance, managing the Generator Worksop and production targets, Health & Safety CITB toolbox talks and providing timely and accurate reports on a weekly and monthly basis to higher authority.
