This includes all Managers, Supervisors, fixed shift operations, floating labour operations and sub contractors. Between us we manage the workforces holiday and sickness, which also involves sourcing replacements, and if required laying on overtime to ensure the requested labour is supplied and everybody is at their correct place of work at the start of shift.We use the Ports own LMS system. We also need to know all the different terms of conditions that affect the varying workforce. The need to work alongside the Unite Union and HR is essential.Being able to react to late changes to the customers needs and use initiative is very important to making sure that shipping is kept on time and any delays kept to a minimum.
