Kraft Electrical & Solar (KES) is an electrical services business providing a range of residential and commercial solutions throughout Newcastle & the Hunter. My role was originally to design and implement the business processes and procedures along with appropriate software to support these functions. Due to past experience, my role evolved to also include everything financial from modelling & budgeting to bookkeeping & payroll. Key Deliverables: • Designed, deployed and ongoing management of company website.• Manage corporate Information Systems.• Source and implement companywide software solutions.• Manage key electrical projects related to solar.• Business reporting and financial insights.• Client relations and stakeholder management.

SolarKraft is a retailer and installer of residential and commercial solar systems and related products. My role was to manage the operational process within the business, from the moment a customer decided to purchase, to the procurement of stock, through to the delivery and installation of the system. Being a very competitive industry it was important to keep operational expenses lean, and as such, I had a firm focus on automation and outsourcing. During this role, I had the opportunity to upskill myself across a range of technical platforms providing me with the knowledge and expertise to build and implement the majority of SolarKrafts automation. Key Deliverables: • Managed the operational procedures for the full business pipeline.• Customised business management software to optimise workflow.• Created workflow automation to streamline communications.• Created in-house software solutions for cashflow modelling and management predictive insights.• Staff retention and training.• Customer liaison and account management.

Employing a team of 35+ people at its peak servicing the financial needs of both individuals and businesses, Corporation U won a BRW Fast Starters award in 2011 for being one of Australia's fastest-growing companies and was sold in its entirety in 2016.
