I am a partner at KPMG Luxembourg where I lead the Private Equity and the Assurance audit practice. I represent the firm in the marketplace, develop the PE industry, leading strategies and ensuring that clients receive exceptional experience across all service lines while working closely with KPMG’s global and regional sector teams. I developed with other partners the audit PE audit practice in 2017 with 35 professionals reaching in 2020 a practice of more than 140 professionals dedicated to PE audit.My clients are large international Corporations based mainly in Europe and in the United States with more than 20 years of experience in auditing and advising major financial institutions. I am also a senior advisor to his clients in that he handles all of the regulatory and operational issues his clients may encounter. At the beginning of my career with KPMG, I worked both the investment management and the commercial and industrial sectors with primarily exposure to global accounts.In 2004, I moved to KPMG NYC, where I gained experience on US GAAP, US GAAS, SOX 404 audits and on IFRS accounts for US entities. I returned to Luxembourg in 2006 as experienced manager.In addition, thanks to my experience on SOX 404 engagements in the US, I specialised in SAS70/ISAE 3402 for fund administrators, public companies and custodian banks.I am a lecturer in several school of Finance and delivered a Private equity course at HEC Liege. I delivered training courses for the Luxembourg Investment Management industry since 2003. I am member of several working groups at the Association of the Luxembourg Investment funds where I also participate to several international conferences as speaker. I write various articles related to audit and the impact of the disruptive technologies on the Investment fund sector.I am board member at the Luxembourg Private Equity Association, Co-chair of ALFI working group and member of the eligibility committee of LuxFlag that grant label to microfinance funds.
