Primary Projects.Managed the design and development of a Store Portal system, a vital component in Rite Aid’s Corporate to Store communication infrastructure. The portal is used daily by over 10,000 users.- Worked with a team of 6 offshore developers to bring project in on time, to a high standard of quality and under budget.- Designed and implemented seamless deployment to over 5000 stores.- Collaborated with external suppliers and vendors to include their content.Design and development of a KPI/scorecard system, providing over 5000 stores access to near real time data about all aspects of their store.These VB.NET/MS Sql Server based suites of applications are a vital component in Rite Aid’s Corporate to Store communication infrastructure.

Designed and managed the development of a number of internal systems using VB.Net & DB2. Understanding business processes, gathering requirements, identifying potential usability issues and ensuring that an appropriate level of application quality is maintained at all times.

Technical lead for development and maintenance of an in house Warehouse Management System using C/Oracle on a HP UNIX platform.- Managing application port to HPUX 11.0/Oracle 8.0 from 10.20/7.3.4, enabling Rite Aid to rejoin support programs.- Modifying application interfaces to work with multiple hardware vendors, allowing comparison of vendors prior to tenders being requested.- Designed and developed Pick-To-Light and Conveyor simulators to test the application without hardware, improving the QA process and allowing automated testing.

Overall responsibility for the complete software development lifecycle of Concorde’s flagship public safety resource management system. - Managed a team of between 4 and 6 individuals, including recruitment and appraisals. - Worked with all levels of management and clients. - Worldwide support of our customers (America, Canada & UK wide).- Ensured software was developed on time and to a high standard.- Planned and implemented application ports (Ingres->Oracle / Unix -> NT) opening up new markets and thereby increasing sales.
