I am an experienced Director, I have operated successfully in a wide range of roles and Engineering disciplines at all levels in contractor, consultation and client level.I have extensive experience of Telecommunications, Submarine cable operations, Critical National Infrastructure Design and Build, Data Centre Construction, Civil Engineering, Operations, Retrofit and Systems Commissioning.I have led teams of all sizes and abilities with teams consisting of Project Engineers, Designers, Project and Programme Management, Construction Engineering, Vendors, Bids/Tenders, RFQ’s, RFP’s, New Vendor Selection and Pre Construction Management.I have had P&L responsibilities for construction projects of c. $100M, Retrofit project budgets of c. $50M and Operations budgetary responsibility for c. $5M per annum.I have taken on specific extra roles as a coach and mentor, throughout my career I have been heavily involved in training and development, including writing training materials and team development strategies.My commitment to Safety has been a cornerstone of my performance and I have been involved in several committee’s and many initiatives to improve safety throughout my career.Currently I am managing all aspects of construction in the mission critical space, I operate at all stages of construction and am primarily involved in the development and Project Management of several large data centre projects for confidential clients.I have managed multiple simultaneous data center and technology pre-construction development projects from inception through hand over to the construction teams. Working with the ambiguity of project parameters and changing project limitations, coordinating multiple stakeholder requirements to develop and define the project requirements and design management of Basis of Design development and managing scope change. I have a deep understanding and perspective of construction schedules, costs, supply chain analysis, risk analysis, labour markets, project cash flows and commercial contract terms and contract delivery methods.I have experience Implementing a complete network ready environment that includes racks/cabling/patching for end to end connectivity.
