Samaya is a small scale convention center, based in a former monastery situated in the center part of The Netherlands, close to the city of Utrecht. The facility houses 5 various sizes convention room, all equipped with own outdoor garden facilities, a chapel, 28 bedrooms and restaurant facilities. We facilitate leadership training sessions organized by 3th parties mainly for business purposes as well as meaning- and mindfulness training's organized by spiritual professional trainers. Furthermore during holiday seasons we open our doors for artists and their trainers. The total 4 acres of surrounding park brings the outside world into our monastery and their inhabitants. The professional and wonderful staff with their personal attention, make our guest feel at home and come to rest. My role is to facilitate, to have personal contact with our guests, the contact with our suppliers, as well as the renovation and sustainability projects. My partner in life Tonja is responsible for the day-to-day operations.

All renovations in the Samaya monastery are (financially) managed via my project management & building company. This company is specialized in renovations, re-building, re-designing and re-styling private properties / projects. They can be private owned or bought by my company to be redeveloped and restyled. Also (interim) procurement support for complex technical Capex projects are handled via my company. Scope of work here is determin the bid-packages, negotiation process in close contact with the enginering department, contracting as well as the logistical and import challenges. Hands-on, TCO, flexibility as well as communication with the project management are my most important skills to support the team.

Responsible for the Building System division, a specialist in exceptional glass constructions with flat glass, curved glass, accessible glass and special types of glass. They engineer, deliver and install the glass together with the steel construction, so an optimal solution is guaranteed. By making daring bridges and floors with accessible glass or curved facades and roofs with Freeformglass, we go to the maximum limits of both products. But also illuminated walls, show cases and railings with safety glass, coloured glass or glass with prints or silkscreen prints.

responsable for the purchasing in Europe and the Far-East and for the exports to mainly the European and Scandinavian countries and the Caribean of mixed (container) loads of glass products for architectural use. Internal responable for the internal organisation as well as the stocks in our warehouses throughout the country.
