• Developed the process, methodology and models used for estimating the monetary value of datasets which Intel could monetize externally or utilize internally to increase top line or bottom line. Operationalized the Data Valuation program and became recognized as the expert within Intel on the subject.• Project managed cross-functional teams to execute six different data valuation projects, spanning multiple business units, amounting to greater than $1B of NPV. The financial models were used to support strategic decision-making regarding funding and staffing for new business incubation initiatives, use case feasibility and prioritization, partnership selection and negotiations, build vs. buy vs. partner trade-offs, business model selection, sales negotiations and pricing, and company acquisition decisions.• Facilitated numerous Data Valuation use case and modeling workshops with teams from different business units, and a company-wide Data Valuation symposium which included external participants and experts on the topic.

• Developed the methodology and models for sizing nascent markets where historical sales volume is limited or non-existent and mentored numerous individuals to use my tools and adapt them for their sizing efforts.• Used this “Exploratory TAM” methodology to size Wearables, Connected Home, AR/VR, Drones, 3D Cameras, Lidar, Rugged Compute, Cognitive Computing, Smart Cities, and Smart Sports Equipment. The research was used for guiding product roadmaps, geographical prioritization, organizational funding and M&A decisions.• Integrated multiple dozens of data sources and imputed missing data, to create a comprehensive and granular forecast of world-wide tech spending. Led the project management, analysis, and road-show of the tech spending trends publications for consumer tech-spending, non-consumer tech-spending, software and services spending, and data center spending.• Integrated economic, demographic and tech spending datasets to analyze PC affordability for Intel’s First-Time Buyer project, and also used this data as a basis for various consumer electronic market models.• Developed many unique analyses and models, across a breadth of subject areas, using a variety of tools/languages (Excel, VBA, @Risk, JMP, SAS, RapidMiner, Python, SQL Server, etc.), and using a variety of methodologies (Diffusion curves, Monte Carlo Simulations, Regression, Time Series, Restricted Exponential, Decision Quality, etc). Also used Excel, Tableau, Mekko Graphics and custom-developed VBA code for visualizing data.

• Delivered long range product, demand, and capacity business modeling for numerous reviews and ad hoc requests. Provided business modeling analysis to help guide the company in multi-billion-dollar decision making of product roadmaps, capacity level setting, supplier strategies, material planning, space planning, M&A, subsidy levels, etc.• Managed various datasets fundamental to analyses done by multiple organizations across Intel, by updating forecasts and actuals, by resolving data quality issues, by adapting data feeds and model logic to meet the changing data infrastructure, and by working with data source providers to make enhancements to their systems.• Delivered an automated web reporting solution for my models, and an automated backend solution for my datasets.

• Performed the role of improving IT business processes/systems through the application, consultation, and education of business process improvement tools and methodologies. Improvement toolset includes analytical/statistical methods (Lean Six Sigma) and logical/systems thinking methods (Theory of Constraints).• Led successful improvement project implementations of KTBR Revenue Pipeline operations, the Lean Six Sigma Engagement / Resource Mgmt process, the IT Indicator Audit for statistical rigor, Asset Mgmt data quality, and various efforts to reduce IT project cycle time for the SET IT Workflow initiative, including project managing a successful pilot for Theory of Constraints Project Management.

• Led multiple cross-functional teams to manage capacity by forecasting the system capacities needed within Intel’s Enterprise Data Warehouse environments to meet forecasted workload demand.• Developed the capacity planning processes, methods and predictive models for forecasting system utilization, and for assessing the impact of planned business growth on the environment.• Influenced capacity and roadmap decisions through publication and communication of quarterly capacity plans to stakeholder teams, finance, open forums and senior IT management, and by being a stakeholder to various roadmaps and numerous processes.• Project managed the implementation of an automated metrics and reporting system.

• Was the liaison to engineering, operations and the customer for developing distributed systems management solutions. EM duties included determining scope and timing of project, resource allocation and funding, priorities, gap analysis, vendor tool selection and negotiating buy-in.• PM duties included working with service managers, customer resources, vendors, product managers and engineers to develop, engineer, test, and deploy new management services.• Created and negotiated the Exchange 2K infrastructure management strategy, project plans and test plans.

• Led capacity and stress benchmark tests on SAP R/3 systems and its interfaces. Tests included simulating user load, batch load, ALE messaging, and interfaces to legacy systems.• Performed R/3 Basis tasks including performance monitoring, database and transaction tuning, NT/UNIX and database administration, resolving SAP alerts and traces, profile maintenance, etc.• Created documentation for test results, BKMs and customer engagement processes.
