Earned his PhD in Cardiovascular Physiology from the Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel Aviv University, Israel, then he spent 2 years as a post-doc fellow at the Cardiology Branch, NHLBI, NIH, Bethesda, MD. Between 2007-2009 he spent 2-year sabbatical in Washington Hospital Centre, Washington DC, USA.Prof. Scheinowitz is the past Chair of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, and Founder and 1st Director of the Biomedical Technology Innovation Program @ TAU, Israel. Prof. Scheinowitz also was the Founder and 1st director of Sylvan Adams Sports Institute @ TAU. Scheinowitz is a member of the European Network for Health Enhancing Physical Activity, WHO, International Council for Exercise Sciences and Physical Education, and Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine. In the past, Prof. Scheinowitz was a member of the National Council for Health Promotion; the National Council for the Prevention and Treatment of Cardiovascular Diseases; and Healthy Israeli 2020 Initiative, Israeli Ministry of Health. Prof. Scheinowitz gain vast experience in leading medical device companies from basic research through pre-clinical in vivo studies to clinical trials. He currently serves as the Chief Scientist of Aerotel Ltd, Holon, Israel.In 2014 Prof. Scheinowitz graduated the Merage Institute in medical device program and in 2015 he completed the Directorship Executive program at Recanti Business School, TAU.
