Provide comprehensive project management, responsible for developing applications and processes that are required to extract, transform, cleanse and manage data for Frederick County Government Division of Fire and Rescue Services (DFRS) and Emergency Communications. As a core member of the high performance Public Safety IT team, ensure data integration services are consistently and reliably maintained and analytics capabilities are delivered at an optimum level, helping DFRS identify insights from a large number of diverse datasets. • Perform as an SQL/ETL Analyst and provides essential services to FIE in three critical areas: (a) managing the FIE databases using Microsoft SQL Server data management systems efficiently and without error; (b) working with FIE assessment team to carryout approximately 2500 individual assessments of young children each year (fall and spring) including creating scannable forms, implementing, validating, and preparing reports; and (c) carrying out technology-related services including analytics, maintaining the CMAP server, and creating and modifying GIS maps. Systems and LAN administration experience administering user accounts, performing server subsystem configuration, and network management at departmental level.o Identify user needs to create and manage FIE databases, using a working knowledge of FIE programs, functions and services. Develop processes and standard operating procedures to maintain system configurations, user accounts, permissions, data files, directories and folders.o Maintain Microsoft SQL Server database management systems on Windows Server. o Develop, update, and maintain SQL Server tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures to facilitate analyses of data stored on the server. o Create and modify scannable forms using the Scantron Design Expert Software.o Manage the application, upgrades, and user support.o Create and modify GIS maps for various projects using the ArcMap software.
