I am privileged to be part of the Data Analytics team which discovers business insights from the hospital data in a sense of facilitating executives, senior medical officers to make informed decisions and implement innovative clinical programmes proactively.Principle responsibilities:● Analyze data from multiple sources to understand hospital performance and identify new business opportunities for further improvement;● Develop reporting and data integrating applications to facilitate the MedCentral DHB operation managers, senior Executive/Cluster heads, senior doctors, Charge Nurses and all other working colleagues.Principle projects delivered and working on:● Owner of the Patient Acuity Index application which evaluates the severity of medical needs and assigns an acuity score to each patient. This application has successfully replaced the previous system as a more transparent and efficient clinical booking prioritisation tool which systematically helped book patients promptly and revealed clinical capacity and demand conflict;● Owner of the ESPIs (national Elective Services Patient Flow Indicator) dashboard development which provided actional insights to elective managers and helped them intuitively identify patients who required additional attention quickly;● Owner of the CCDM Data analytical project which is a core component of the nation-wide Care Capacity Demand Management Programme;● Production plan analysis for the nation-wide bowel screening program.
