Because nanoengineering isn't the purview of any particular traditional scientific or engineering discipline, I consider myself an intersectional problem-solver. Through my graduate research and limited time working in industry, I have a diverse fabrication background that can be very useful in a variety of fields. I have learned to work methodically and relentlessly towards the task at hand and employ best engineering practices and efficient experimental design. My primary graduate research thrust was a materials science approach to haptic surfaces and evaluating mechanical stability and encapsulation of haptic devices and organic (flexible) electronics.
