I have a strong passion for leadership in all its aspects. From delving into leadership theories to observing how individuals either excel or falter in leadership roles within their workplaces, communities, and personal lives—I find it all absolutely fascinating.My dedication to leadership led me to pursue a PhD in the field. I now actively apply my knowledge on a daily basis to support our clients, carrying the unofficial designation of "Chief Learning Officer." In this capacity, I meticulously research and curate top-tier leadership resources to aid in the training and development of those we serve.I firmly believe that effective leadership originates from self-awareness. That's why I make it a priority to help executives and other leaders grasp their operational methods, motivations, energy drains, and, significantly, what brings meaning and joy to their roles.By enhancing their self-awareness as leaders, individuals can effectively manage themselves, thereby evolving into more efficient and content leaders. I guide them on giving constructive feedback, mentoring their subordinates, conducting meetings more effectively, and aligning their work with their fundamental values. This results in work transforming into an expression of self-mastery, generating a profound impact within the organizational setup.My journey to this point was not immediate. Following 25 years in higher education, I discerned that my true talents lie in coaching, training, and development rather than in administrative roles. The realm of leadership resonated strongly with me, igniting a new career path wherein opportunities to serve expanded consistently. By 2024, working alongside my partner Erin Cressy, we have assisted numerous leaders across varied industries. The addition of our third partner, Anna McEachern, in 2024 further broadened our capacity to support leaders.Continuing to abide by my core purpose (a nod to Simon Sinek) and functioning within what Gay Hendricks terms my "Zone of Genius," I strive to serve in the most effective way possible for me.
