Our NCHS client has come to rely on my "superior work and professionalism." I use advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and design software to create and design high quality textual and graphic compositions to communicate and disseminate complex technical information for health professionals and researchers. I also design and produce graphic and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, video production, PowerPoint and other digital presentations, packaging, and informative and instructional materials through a variety of applications for social media promotion and health marketing for NCHS and the CDC. I am also an expert in Desktop Publishing, 508 ADA remediation, and PowerPoint presentations, including the creation of slide masters.I also use my photography skills as NCHS's cooperate photographer and produce and have produced most of the agency's official portraits for a variety of products and occasions. I have enhanced skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Encoder, and Audition for video post production and creation. I have created and collaborated in creating many animations and videos for many purposes, such as training, marketing, and PSAs.

For over 20 years I worked as the on-site Graphic Specialist/Group Supervisor for NOVA Research Company for Northrop-Grumman and more recently Business Computers Applications, under contract with the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS), and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Coordinates the day-to-day functions of NOVA staff with the NCHS Technical Monitor and NOVA manger and reviews staff projects and design comps on a daily basis for function and form. Responsible for brand development and management for the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and its agencies, and CIO’s. Uses advanced desktop publishing, page layout, and typography to design and develop high quality textual and graphic compositions to communicate and disseminate complex technical information for health professionals and researchers. Designs and produces graphics and visual materials for promotions, advertisements, films, presentations, packaging, and informative and instructional material through a variety of media outlets such as websites and CD-ROMs for the promotion and health marketing of NCHS and the CDC. Utilizes industry standards and advanced desktop publishing, layout, and graphic software/hardware to create designs and products for NCHS and CDC.Since 2010, responsibilities have grown to encompass IDPS’s audio/visual/video production and photography, coordinating and producing several video projects and was Project Consultant for the National Hospital Care Survey’s (NHCS) Continuing Education module for the web.
