ICIX is a Force.com Independent Software Vendor (ISV) offering solutions that allow our clients to gain insight into their supply chain trading partners. As a member of the Solutions Team, I advised on the Service Architecture of the ICIX supply chain compliance platform.

I advised our customers on the best practices for extending the standard ICIX footprint to solve complex, client-specific, product manufacturing transparency problems.

I coded custom Apex classes, triggers and Visualforce pages for the clients of the leader in Quote-to-Cash applications available on http://appexchange.salesforce.com. Many Apttus Professional Services clients wished to extend our Force.com managed packages with advanced features that required custom development such as the coding of custom Apex callback classes or Visualforce components.

Project involved integrating SFDC with several other client systems for a major commercial insurance carrier.

I developed Apex classes, triggers, and Visualforce pages for an Unlimited Edition organization with over 2,100 users. I enhanced Account and Opportunity Management processes as well as SOAP integrations between SFDC and the Customer Master, utilizing a TIBCO enterprise service bus.

As a senior developer for a saleforce.com Platinum Partner, I specialized in Apex class and trigger development for Enterprise and Unlimited Edition clients. I customized our clients’ organizations and portal sites through Visualforce components and pages, including Web-to-Case and LiveAgent pre-chat forms. I also configured custom objects, page layouts, approval processes, email templates, workflow rules, and AppExchange managed packages with the Force.com declarative user interface.

I developed Visualforce pages as well as classes, triggers, test classes and web services written in Apex. SuperMedia has an Unlimited Edition Salesforce.com organization with over 2,600 users leveraging Call Center, Marketing and Sales, among other features.

I delivered over 20 enhancements to XO's Production Siebel order entry system, significantly increasing the level of systematic automation available to end users, thus streamlining the sales order entry process for inside, field and partner sales agents.

During BNSF Railway's upgrade from Call Center 7.8.2.14, I validated several WebSphere MQ 7 and java interfaces to ensure they worked with Siebel 8. I also revised server scripts to implement early binding and strong typing of script variables, exception handling, and direct invocation of business service methods

I utilized my recent, formal training in java, C#, AJAX and other web technologies to assist my team in the development and enhancement of several C# web applications coded with Visual Studio 2008 Professional. In addition to web development, I perform significant coding of eScript business service methods exposed as Inbound Web Service port operations implemented as synchronous Simple Object Access Protocol ( SOAP ) integration points between SIA and either extranet .net applications running on IIS or java applications running Apache Axis web server extensions.My algorithms dynamically drove UI functionality with on-demand validation of user positions or field values according to complex business rules; for example, as the user scrolls through the records in a list applet, certain list columns become read-only or editable automatically without scripting, greatly improving performance. These algorithms employ Siebel best practices such as maintaining valid values within S_LST_OF_VAL; thus, revising business rules is as simple as modifying the relevant LOV_TYPE records.

Developed a real-time integration between 'Service Agreement' module and Taxware L. P.'s Sales/Use Tax System Toolkit 3.5.2 which allowed each agreement line item to be assessed taxation based upon product commodity code and service address GEO code.

Within a multinational, multiorganizational implementation, I coded eScript services to, inter alia, serve up Crystal Reports to either the connected or mobile client and raise user-defined, language-specific messages from invocations throughout the SIA application; I developed a VB.net application to present data using DSN-less ADO connections; I wrote a 1,100-line VBScript Windows Scripting Host script which compiled, packaged and deployed releases to any of multiple target enterprises.

I enhanced two VB.net console applications for the world's largest provider of redundant power. Applications provided a real-time interface between a J2EE web service and the Siebel Data Server.

I coded several business services which integrated real-time with legacy IBM mainframe systems to return financial transaction results back to my services which would, in turn, update the SIA database and present the mainframe responses within transaction-specific, custom views. Typical elapsed time for a round-trip was less than three seconds depending upon WAN traffic / bandwidth. I configured a default organization with over twenty suborganizations, ensuring that each sub only had visibility to its own transactional data while OpenSolutions employees had all-across visibility.

Coded eScript EAI methods to process WMQI messages over IBM MQSeries 8.1. Functions traversed and manipulated Siebel hierarchical property sets and generated synchronous replies including WMQI headers. Largest method processed nine separate business-rule scenarios.Translated complex trouble-ticketing business rules into several automated EAI processes which existed completely outside of Tools. All process automation, including invocation, resided within Siebel's business objects layer ensuring the enforcement of business rules and referential integrity.

Provided best practices training on our tools for Visual Basic® and Visual C++®. Trained users of our products to optimize and debug actual client source code as well as assisted client administrators correctly set up their Microsoft Visual SourceSafe® 6 servers to integrate with our DevPartner Studio 6 product line. Performed pre-sale’s demonstrations of our product line to client purchasing decision makers as well as client technical superusers and lead client developers. Technical product representative of NuMega at VBITS® ’98 in Orlando in September, 1998. Provided support to users in five-state region.
